Pippi Ardennia, Lowertown’s First Lady of Jazz and 2015 Twin Cities Jazz Fest Lead-Off Headliner heats up the Bedlam Theater, Saturday, October 22nd. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the Bedlam.

About Pippi Ardennia: Pippi is the founder and president of the PipJazz Foundation, whose mission is “to inspire young musicians to find their voice through live performances with world-class musicians.” A Chicago Native, Pippi has performed at many of the city’s most respected jazz clubs, including the Burning Spear, Mr. Kelly’s, Rosebud on Rush, as well as Chicago Symphony Center and the Taste of Chicago. Since moving to Minnesota Pippi has appeared at the Dakota Jazz Club and the Twin Cities Jazz Fest. She has performed for such notables as President Clinton, Mayor Richard Daley, Tony Bennett, and Liza Minnelli and performed with Freddie Hubbard, George Freeman and Billy Branch.
